Well, the product 100% blends in with cat tails, as the color suggests. I emailed J sterns 1 week prior to order (3 weeks ago at this point) ans still have not gotten a response. Im confused how many of my friends could use 2-2.5lbs of a competitor brand material and get a layout done...I used ALL 11lbs of j sterns and still did not have enough for 2 layouts. My email asked which color blend would most match my regions vegetation and agriculture, and how much I should need. That would be the only reason for 3 stars. I am definitely ordering again, IF I can get a response because I have 6 layouts and 3 A frames that need done.

Best grass available. I've had it on my boat multiple seasons, hundreds of trailered miles on highways, and it's held up great.

Produce as advertised!

We had plenty of materials to cover the boat with the quantity suggested by J Stern. Had plenty left over to fill in the more sparse areas. Started by added grass every second loop, staggered the layers like bricks to maximize coverage. Then we filled every loop going from the top towards the bottom to have a fuller effect. Very happy with the results. Buyer beware: J Stern used UPS to ship to us in Canada. The brokerage fees were a bit high. USPS doesn't charge those or as much in my experience. Could be the new tariffs though. Received the product within 7 days. Would buy again and highly recommend

Great product. A little bit messy to work with. The results are very good. I used it on a panel blind in the duck marsh all last year. It only needs some touch up for this year. I grassed two layout blinds and a panel blind and two dog blinds with the 11 lb package of marsh grass.

Your product is good, this is my second purchase. What is bad about it , is the twisting of the reeds. If you could spec each bundle to lay straight and then tied, it would be a lot easier to use your product. The bundles I received were twisted, causing a knot.

I have a 1800 series beavertail blind. I got the 33# of the cattail’s. I left one shooting door with no grass. Other three doors are covered. Definitely had enough to cover this blind. Looks great!

Great product ! Use it for my craft business

Used 66 lbs total but I have a pretty big hard sided blind and I wanted it on fairly thick. Used dark marsh and cattail mixed and cut lengths into thirds to help break it up more.
